The work-based learning model (BBL): 4 days working at an accredited training company, 1 day school at the Academy. Learning by doing — in real work situations, with real craftspeople.
Three phases towards your career
From first introduction to entering the labour market — every programme follows a clear structure.

An introductory meeting to map your motivation, interests and ambitions.
Bootcamp
During the bootcamp you work on essential skills for the labour market. Think communication, collaboration, problem-solving, work ethic, safety, discipline and professional behaviour. You also get introduced to digital tools and AI applications that are increasingly important in modern workplaces.
Practice-based learning
Participants learn via a work-based model where they gain practical experience under the guidance of a master craftsman.

Three roles, one system
The Trainee
You. 4 days working at an accredited training company. 1 day school. Learning by doing and growing on the work floor.
The Master Craftsman
An experienced craftsperson at the training company. Guides you daily on the work floor. Principle: demonstrate → do together → do independently.
The Instructor
The quality guardian of Caribbean Tech Academy. Coaches the master craftsman, monitors progress and ensures the curriculum is followed.
